“Everything seems impossible until the moment we act; then you realize that it was possible” Evelyn Underhill
Mascagni Organic Farm is my farm where I work with my father every day.
The farm was born in 2015 when, after graduating in Agriculture from the University of Florence, I decide to leave the fabric shop of my family since 1948 to grow olive trees.
I take away with me my father Massimo, involving him in this new adventure. With the closure of our shop in Siena, I begin with him a new life in the fields with the aim of making innovation agriculture and creating something special.
My fields are the borderland between the municipality of Pienza and Montalcino in the heart of the Crete Senesi, in Tuscany.
The hills and gullies are the backdrop for agriculture made of olive trees and wheat fields.
In this landscape I try every day to cultivate excellent fruits in respect of this unique land aware that I am not the owner, but only the custodian.
My idea is to make precision agriculture by experimenting with innovative agronomic interventions for the benefit of the environment and the farmer.
I started from scratch and, after a lot of work, I now produce an extra virgin olive oil that is just like I dreamed it.
It reminds me every day that if you really want to, the impossible can become possible.
